Light Showers Nursery and Primary school was founded and started operations on the 3rd of September, 2016 as Light Showers Montessori School at Block 60, Plot 1295 Oye Akapo Crescent Lake View Estate Amuwo Odofin, Lagos State.
It was established to provide high quality child care and early years education in a safe and well structured environment for children between the ages of one to six years.
Light Showers started with five pupils and six staff which included two teachers, a caregiver, a cleaner, a driver and a security man.
At the inception, it had four main classes, Toddler 1, Toddler 2 , Prekindergarten and Kindergarten. In two years, we were able to effectively prepare pupils for Primary school education. Our parents started clamouring for a Primary section after observing and experiencing the standard we set.
After all considerations, the Management put all the needed and necessary apparatus in place, hired qualified staff and started Primary section of Light Showers Nursery and Primary School on the 16th of September, 2017. Our Nursery graduands were the first pupils of our Primary school.
After one academic year, our primary school started attracting more enrollments due to the standard and quality of education and other developmental services we offer.
Light Showers Montessori School continues to strive to provide the best grooming and educational services that every child deserves.
